Liberia Conference Endorses the 2026 Declaration of Principles

Editorial Note: The following is a letter, now prepared for publication, that I received from the Advent Christian Conference of Liberia. In April of this year, E. Cronus Neaway, secretary of the Buchanan Advent Christian Church and now recording secretary of the ACCL, expressed interest in being directed to resources that would avail the conference of details concerning the proposals that have come before the Advent Christian General Conference. He has now conveyed to me an endorsement of the 2026 Declaration of Principles as expressed by President Moses B. Gbaa on behalf of the conference. – Tom Loghry

Dear Pastor Tom,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. On the 27th day of May, 2026, the Leadership of the Advent Christian Conference of Liberia convened and generally voted in support of the 2026 Revised Declaration of Principles of the Advent Christian Denomination on these counts:

  1. We affirm that the 2026 Revised Declaration of Principles is consistent with the biblical doctrines and historic beliefs of the Advent Christian Denomination.

  2. We stand in full support of Pastor Tom and his entire team in their work of upholding and communicating the 2026 DOP across our denomination.

  3. We reaffirm that nothing in the 2026 DOP contravenes our faith, doctrine, or practice as Advent Christians.

  4. We encourage all pastors, church leaders, conference presidents, and members of the Advent Christian Denomination to prayerfully review and confirm their support of the 2026 Revised Declaration of Principles.


The 2026 DOP continues to uphold the authority of Scripture, the imminent return of Christ, salvation by grace through faith, and our mission to proclaim the Gospel.

Let us remain united in truth and in mission as we move forward together. This letter serves as the official confirmation of the position of the Liberia Advent Christian Conference.
