Advent Christians Voices is graciously hosting this page for the 2026 Advent Christian Eastern Region Pastors Summit.
Introduction
This June, Eastern Region Advent Christian pastors are gathering at Alton Bay, NH for three days of fellowship, honest dialogue, worship, and prayer. The summit is an opportunity to be with brothers who share this calling — to engage the real questions facing our churches and denomination, to sit under the preaching of the Word together, and to consecrate ourselves afresh to the Lord and to one another.
This summit is built on a conviction forged over years of gatherings among Eastern Region pastors: that meaningful relationships and honest dialogue are vital to the health of our churches and the future of Advent Christendom in the Eastern Region. Come and be a part of it.
What to Expect
Forums
Each forum opens with a focused 15–30 minute presentation — think TED talk, not lecture — designed to lay the groundwork for real dialogue. The conversation that follows is the point: exploring ideas together, pressing toward truth, working out practical wisdom for our churches. We expect these conversations to continue well past the forum itself.
Preaching
How often do pastors get the opportunity sit under the preaching of God's Word? Three sermons across the summit will be aimed squarely at pastoral hearts — biblical, exhortational, and cumulative. Come ready to receive.
Worship & Prayer
Worship will be simple — acoustic or a cappella. On the second evening, pastors will break into smaller groups for prayer, with the opportunity to share needs in confidence.
Fellowship
Meals are included (with your $25 registration). Some of the best conversations happen during the in-between and after the schedule ends. We encourage late night discussion!
Forum Topics
The Church's Human Crisis
Our churches do not face only theological or structural challenges — they face a human one. This forum takes an honest look at the people crisis confronting local congregations: how we got here, what it means for pastoral ministry, and how we move forward.
Concept and Implementation of Koinonia Groups
Genuine Christian community does not happen by accident. This forum explores one example of a practical model (Koinoinia Groups) utilized by Hope Church in Lenox, MA for building meaningful fellowship within congregations. We’ll learn what koinonia groups are, the vision behind them, and explore how we can potentially develop similar groups in our own ministry contexts.
Case Studies and Open Counsel for Pastors
This forum is built for the room. Real scenarios from pastoral ministry will open a time of collective wisdom and mutual counsel — an opportunity to benefit from the experience of brothers who have been in the trenches.
Denominational Standards — Proposed Changes
The Eastern Region and the broader Advent Christian family are navigating important questions about denominational identity and structure. These forums will present and discuss proposed changes to our denominational standards, with time for open and honest dialogue.
